We purchased the dog for our six year old, who was upset that almost everyone in his class had their own dog and he didn’t. We’ve had Chloe for 15 years, and while she loves Jeff, our son, she is definitely my wife’s dog and follows her around constantly. Jeff wanted a dog that was his own, but we weren’t sure that he was old enough to take care of his own dog yet, and we weren’t sure how Chloe would do with a new pet. Alas, that’s the one thing Biscuit can’t do, but I’m sure the engineers will keep working on it and, eventually, all kids will have synthetic pets for their first ones!
