We live in an apartment and aren’t allowed to have dogs. We do have an indoor cat, but try explaining to your six year old son why you’re allowed to have a cat and not a dog and watch the headaches begin. For my son’s sixth birthday, all he asked for was a dog, but we couldn’t get him one. We heard about the FurReal Friends Biscuit My Lovin Pup that was coming out, and knew that maybe that would be the answer we were looking for. It was a larger dog and not only did it sound like one, it actually acted like a real dog. We were intrigued and decided to take a change on it.
The FurReal Friends Biscuit My Lovin Pup reviews said that the dog was a fairly good sized one, but I wasn’t prepared for exactly how big he was. Biscuit is good sized! He takes up a whole corner of my son’s bedroom, but fortunately he doesn’t stick out too far, so he’s not getting bumped into all of the time. He’s certainly big enough to be exciting, though.
When my son opened him up, he was a bit frustrated that he didn’t get a real dog, until he saw what Biscuit could do. Any time he told the dog to sit or lie down, Biscuit did, and did with a smile on his face. When my son went over to his friend’s house, where there was a real dog, he tried to get the live dog to do the same tricks, but couldn’t. He came home and said how much better Biscuit was than his friends dog, because Biscuit actually listened to his commands and was much more fun to play with. I’m very glad we took a chance on Biscuit!
