I love gadgets. If you look in my office at home and at work, you’ll find more electronic gadgets than you’d find in an electronic store! These gadgets, however, are not meant for my kid to play with, but it’s really hard to stop them from wanting to touch and play with them. There aren’t many kid gadgets out there that are truly fun. I mean, I know that there are some expensive ones, but most of them are fairly cheesy and silly. Then I heard about Biscuit.
I read the tech reviews every day (of course), and one of them was a detailed review of FurReal Friends Biscuit My Lovin Pup. I thought it was very interesting that Biscuit was supposed to be able to recognize voice commands, even from someone that they’d never heard speak before. Apparently it works along the same line as the answering systems that ask you which department you’d like to be transferred to, only much less annoying.
My five year old daughter is mad about animals, and curiosity got the better of me. I ordered the dog and took some time checking it out when it arrived. My daughter, however, hasn’t let me touch the dog since. Once the batteries were in, and she was made aware of his presence, she claimed him and that was that! I don’t even have visitation rights! She loves every part of Biscuit, and she plays with him just like he’s a real dog. This is one kid’s toy that I could absolutely see sitting in an adult’s apartment, and that would make countless children happy. Biscuit is absolutely an amazing toy, and I can’t believe that such cool technology is housed inside of the soft body of this beautiful puppy! When is the adult version coming out?
