I have two children who are fairly far apart in age. Emily is 10 and Rosa is 4. This means that there aren’t many toys the two of them can play with together, which makes it extremely expensive, especially around the holiday time. One thing that they both love, however, is animals. Emily has her own hamster, and Rosa has been begging for her own pet. When we saw FurReal Friends Biscuit My Lovin Pup on television the other day, we realized that it may be a great pet for our kids to share, as it is not alive (which means I don’t have to worry about taking care of it), making it perfect for Rosa, and is a lot larger than a hamster, which is what Emily wants.
We haven’t given it to the girls yet, but I know that it’s going to be a huge hit. When they were with their grandmother one day, my husband and I took Biscuit out of his box and set him up. If the kids have even half as much fun playing with him as we do, we’ll be set! Biscuit does everything you want him to do quickly and easily. Any time either my husband or I said “sit”, Biscuit sat. He was easily able to differentiate between our two voices, doing whatever we asked of him without any delay. The only problem, however, was when we started talking at the same time. It seemed like Biscuit got a little confused then, but this will help our daughters to learn to not talk at the same time! I hope that Biscuit can teach them how much fun a pet can be without the hassle of having a real dog. We hope our daughters will love Biscuit, but if they don’t, we’re keeping him for us!
